On the other side of the Atlantic...
Given that it is almost 3am in Athens, I should be in bed, but instead, I thought I'd post some pictures from the past couple of days for y'all faithful readers (you rock!). I arrived in Athens on Tuesday (in snow, which is unheard of here!), after the world's worst landing... only to stay at the most fabulous hotel in Athens - the Grand Bretagne. I haven't been able to get a good shot of the hotel yet, but you can check them out here. The hotel is just unbelievable... and the picture from my balcony doesn't do much justice, but it's the Parliament building in Athens. This is my first time in Greece, so I can't compare Athens to what it was before the Olympics, but it is absolutely lovely. I just adore the city - the architecture, the history... so much to see, and so little time!
Rhodes is a Greek Isle with amazing history... the main city is located at the northern tip of the island, where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean Sea.
I promise to post more pictures when I return... Meanwhile, I hope you all have a great weekend! I'll be checking out the Acropolis! :o)

Wow, gorgeous pics!! Glad you're having a great time... We'll have to get together again when you get back - I don't think I'm gonna be in "Delawhere" too much longer. (Tell you more later!)
